Fencing

Fencing

0108Today, glass can be strong, reliable and successfully perform not only protective functions, but also provide a high level of aesthetics. The scope of glass fences is extremely wide.

They are most often used in private construction, providing a complete view and remaining virtually invisible against the backdrop of the beautiful landscape that opens from the fenced areas. Such fences perfectly fit into an interior as easy and graceful and do not "load" space. That is why they are used in commercial construction, in particular in shopping and entertainment centers.

The transparency and lightness of the glass allows even with large areas of fences to adhere to the concept of open space, the so-called Open space, when there should be no obstacles to the view and all stores should be visible from any point.

0109The main element of all glass structures is glass. It can be transparent, matte, patterned, photo-printed, etc. In addition, it can be bent or have original curvilinear shapes. The enclosing constructions differ among themselves by a fastening method:
- "Invisible" fastening in the end face of a bearing design creates effect as if growing from air of glass. This method of mounting allows you to install the structure quickly enough. This fence does not take up usable space and expands the space. Plus, this design has a useful design secret - the glass in such a fence can be made by painting the bottom to hide the plate to which it is attached.
0110- Fastening of glass in a clamping profile creates feeling of a continuous glass enclosing wall. This method of mounting also provides a high speed of installation. However, in it the way of fastening of glass becomes already appreciable though the clamping profile looks very gracefully.- When attaching glass to the racks, they become an important element of the structure, which directly affects its appearance in conjunction with the glass. Racks can have different cross-sectional shapes. There are also different ways of attaching glass to them: in special clamps, point mounting, etc. After all, the racks can be made of different materials - ferrous metal, stainless steel, aluminum. They can also be made in the form of so-called half-racks, when they are not installed at the full height of the fence.

The choice of glass mounting method is determined by the company's specialists. This takes into account the location of the structure (external fence or inside the room), its purpose, the load acting on it, as well as what it will be mounted.

0111Another component of glass fences are handrails (although there are projects that do not provide for their presence - only glass and its attachments). The choice of handrails is very diverse. Starting from the material (wood, aluminum, stainless steel) and its color, ending with the shape and method of attachment.

The handrail can be U-shaped and put on top of the glass. It can be square or round - such a handrail is milled and also put on glass.

After all, handrails can be portable. In any case, when choosing a fence, its design, including the design of its components, will be chosen according to the style of the building or interior. Glass fencing is a very interesting solution for zoning space.

Physically, they separate one area from another, but due to the transparency of the glass, all objects remain visually accessible.

All-glass fencing structures can be made of multilayer triplex or monoglass (including the application of a special film). The type of glass and its thickness depend on the purpose of the fence, the conditions of its operation, the height at which it is located, etc. Glass with a thickness of 6, 8, 10 mm and more can be used as monoglass.

When designing the fencing of an open-air site, it is necessary to take into account the presence of a drainage system on it. If such a system does not exist, the fence is made exclusively with the use of racks. All other fastening options (to the end face of a plate, in a profile) have a certain tightness in a fastening place.
