The presence of functional sliding systems of different types - this is what distinguishes the range of aluminum windows. Mostly, sliding windows are used to save space. But they also have additional benefits. They allow you to create large light slots, because in sliding windows the maximum possible size of the sash exceeds the size of a normal sash. This is especially noticeable on large openings, where the number of sash can be minimized during glazing and thus let in more light and avoid obstructing jumpers. There are four types of sliding aluminum windows: sliding, parallel-sliding (portal), lifting-sliding and accordion.

Sliding windows once began the history of sliding aluminum systems. To date, this is the simplest and cheapest system. However, its design has some drawbacks. First, the tightness of such a system cannot be called ideal. And secondly, too large and heavy sash is very difficult to move. This is due to the features of the fittings. Currently, sliding windows are used mainly in partitions, for glazing balconies, and they are ideal for the manufacture of sliding windows in cash registers, catering establishments and where frequent opening of the sash, so that it takes up as little space as possible.

Parallel sliding windows ("portal" system) have the tightness of conventional opening windows, combined with the reliability and ergonomics of sliding systems. With this opening, the window sash, in addition to sliding, can also be opened for ventilation. In the aluminum version of the sash in parallel-sliding windows are lighter than, for example, in metal and easier to move.Parallel sliding windows made of aluminum are often used for glazing balconies (especially narrow, where there is little space for sash), for exits to balconies as sliding balcony doors, for glazing kitchens, especially if the window is located directly above the countertop and the usual opening is very inconvenient. as well as wherever there is a need for solid windows along with a lack of free space to open them.

Lifting and sliding windows are used in cases where it is necessary to obtain a sash of maximum size or glaze a hole of large width. If the "portal" can consist of a maximum of 4 parts (2 sash and 2 deaf parts), the number of sash in the lifting and sliding window is not limited. Moreover, they can all be movable without deaf parts. This system provides excellent tightness (when closing the sash, it forms an additional vestibule), strength and safety of the structure.

"Accordion" is the only system that allows you to open the hole by 90% (the remaining 10% of the hole is occupied by folded sash). Moreover, in winter, such a system allows you to open only 1 sash without the use of others. The window system is used in private homes, it is installed in those holes that are fully open in the summer.
