Revolving doors (also called revolving doors) are the best option for glazing the entrance group at facilities where there is an intense flow of visitors. Such doors are usually installed in shopping and business centers, banks, hotels, airports, museums. They have a respectable appearance, are the center of attention at the entrance to the building and therefore partly serve to make a pleasant first impression on the visitor.

But the main advantages of revolving doors are their high capacity, ease of operation and extremely effective insulation.

A unique feature of the design of the revolving door is that the opening is always closed. There is no need to arrange a vestibule and carry out other measures to insulate the entrance to the building. Revolving doors perfectly keep heat, absolutely exclude drafts and provide reliable protection against noise and dust. They significantly reduce energy consumption to maintain a comfortable temperature and microclimate in the room. At the same time, revolving doors provide constant unobstructed access and a comfortable passage for visitors.

Revolving doors usually consist of 2, 3 or 4 blades and are of two types:

- manual (for medium intensity of operation)

- automatic (for intensive operation).

Manual doors are operated manually and do not require connection to the network.

They can be equipped with a speed control device for their safe operation. Automatic doors are electronically controlled, equipped with many different sensors and a multi-level security system. They have several modes of operation that are customizable by the user depending on the situation. Automatic revolving doors are subject to less wear than mechanical, as they feel almost no impact from users.

Depending on the manufacturer and design of the door, their minimum inner diameter is about 1800 mm, the maximum - about 3800 mm.

Most doors of the minimum diameter are possible only in manual execution. Due to the fact that the revolving doors are operated in public places, they have various security functions. Clamp protection, door stop in the event of an obstacle in the way, an emergency stop button, a special mode for people with disabilities, as well as some other useful features ensure the safety of visitors in all conditions.

In case of emergency, the "Anti-panic" mode is provided, when the door blades are folded in one plane, maximally opening the opening for the passage, for example, during evacuation.
